Luke doesn't text back because that's dangerous, but after about 20 minutes, Peanut starts to chirp and flutters over to the window. Not long after, Eunhyuk will probably hear the distant sound of Luke's motorcycle pulling up, or at least the beeping from the first floor that indicates all the security measures being turned off. [HELP DON'T JUST GO DOWN TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS JUST TO THINK ABOUT GOING BACK!!! And Luke really should tease him for man_standing by the door, HE REALLY SHOULD, EUNHYUK WOULD DESERVE IT SO BAD... but he doesn't. He makes his way inside, unbothered by Peanut landing on his shoulder as is his wont--and when he spots Eunhyuk, he lights up, even though he KNEW HE'D BE HERE?? Gay behavior.

He's got two small bags on his arm, which he holds out of the way as he comes over, oblivious to the small crisis Eunhyuk just had. He hesitates himself, then, still a little unused to such easy, recurring domesticity, but it's only for a second before he leans in to kiss Eunhyuk's cheek.]

[He lets Eunhyuk take one of the bags, which he can look into if he likes, though all he'll see is a cute box from a nearby bakery; the other bag, he keeps himself, taking Eunhyuk's hand with his free one instead.

It isn't the first time Eunhyuk's welcomed him back since they got settled, but it never fails to make his heart skip, and he can't stop himself from smiling (not that he wants to). He really would've been fine just standing in the shop and holding hands for a little while, but unfortunately his bIRD CHILD doesn't respect their need to bask in each other, so up the stairs they go. IT IS SUCH A NARROW STAIRCASE but it's fine, he doesn't mind following if it means they get to keep holding hands. He'll let Peanut out in a bit so that they can be undisturbed, it's fine...]

Roll cake. I remembered they were promoting their new mango flavor, so I got that one and the standard, just in case it's too sweet. [(val voice)]

But once they're upstairs, Peanut flies over to perch by the window, expectantly waiting; Luke glances at his bird, then at the evidence of Eunhyuk working in the kitchen, simply taking a minute to soak in the warmth that fills him at the sight. His expression is soft when he looks back at Eunhyuk, and he reaches up to put a hand on his face, drawing him close.]

Hold on. [He closes the distance, pressing his lips to Eunhyuk's once, twice--he doesn't stop until he's given five soft, chaste kisses.] There--one for each hour we were apart.
