He really would've been fine just standing in the shop and holding hands for a little while, but unfortunately his bIRD CHILD doesn't respect their need to bask in each other, so up the stairs they go. Sometimes, even after leaving green home mansion apartments and the eudora behind, Eunhyuk is seized still by the desire to appreciate the present for all it is -- buoyed by the fear that all of it could simply just. stop. that one day he'll lose this normalcy that still feels so strange at times, and that worse, he'll lose Luke. which is a very real possibility because that's life and also Luke is a private detective slash secret agent slash someone who runs headlong into danger, which increases those chances exponentially? if clinging to Luke out of the desperate desire to keep him here close to him means that he'll become way needier than normal than he is willing to bear that burden --
