[I almost started another thread in our catchall because it would've been funny. Anyway don't ask me about the official timeline, this just happens at some point in the future, after the double date. Maybe another couple of months or so? I don't know. What I do know is that after the visit, Childe probably texts Aventurine on a semi-regular basis--nothing intense or overly personal, just the sort of friendly chatting you'd expect from two acquaintances with an important mutual. Maybe some photos whenever he and Essek have spare time and they're doing something fun, plenty of questions about the kids Churin and Nehan take care of, things like that.
Essentially, it's not unusual for the occasional message to come through--unless Aventurine doesn't use his phone or he decided he hates Childe and has him blocked or something, in which case I will have to rewrite this starter.]
[ Aventurine is happy to partake in the back and forth, and while that takes on the form of a lot of automated Do Not Disturb messages, it also shows up in cheerful messages and plenty of harmless questions about what Childe and Essek are up to.

[That's so fair. There are plenty of occasions when Childe has to do Harbinger or things, or when he's visiting Alex in hell or whatnot, so he doesn't always respond right away either. 'Tis the way.]
